Clique Kits' Origins Layout

Good morning, all!  Happy Hump Day!

I am popping in to quickly share a layout I made with the April kit from Clique Kits.  The kit is called "Origins" and it features a ton of Simple Stories products - mainly the "Life in Color" line.  It's so much fun!

Here's my layout:

I covered my cardstock in mist before I started and I really like the end result.

Clique Kits' March Pep Rally

Good morning, everyone!  Happy Clique Kits' Pep Rally!  This Pep Rally features projects made with the Hell Yeah kit - it's such a fun kit.  My other CK projects this month featured a ton of blue and black.  My layout today took a different route:

I really wanted to use the cute little Eiffel Tower that came in the exclusive die cuts package.  We went to Paris a few years ago and had so much fun.  I love scrapping these photos - I think I've scrapped them a million times now :)

I also had to sprinkle in a ton of sequins and a few doilies from SpiegelMom Scraps.

Here is the full line-up for today's hop:

Scraplift Saturdays || 3.19.16

Good morning, all!  Happy Saturday.  It's stormy and gross here, which is awesome - means I *have* to stay in, be lazy and craft all weekend.  :o)

I wanted to pop in and share this week's installment of Scraplift Saturdays.  Every few weeks I choose to scraplift one of my layouts - I feel like it keeps my creative juices flowing!  Here is the layout I'm lifting today:

I rotated the design and used the Hell Yeah kit from Clique Kits to complete this layout.  The Goldie collection from Seven Paper just makes me happy!

Project Life 2016 plans

Good morning, all!

I mentioned way back in January that I was changing my Project Life plans for the year...and I have. I did a truly terrible job keeping up with Project Life last year...I'm not totally sure why because I did really well during the 2 years prior.  Last year was a busy year and we moved and I got a new job and I just fell more and more behind until I just didn't even want to try to catch up.

So, this year I am keeping things super simple.  I'm going to be doing monthly, instead of weekly, spreads and I will only embellish when I really want to :)

I completed my January spread back in February, but completely forgot to share.  I used my January Alegria kit from Clique Kits.  I really loved all the labels that came in the kit and decided to use those for most of my journaling.

See?  Super simple!!  And yet, I'm still getting our memories in the books.  I call that a win!

Egg Hunt || Bella Blvd

Happy Friday everyone!!  I am on the Bella Blvd blog this morning with my last project for them (insert ugly crying face here!).  Today we were asked to focus on Bella Bows, which is one of my favorite Bella products, so this was really easy for me to do!

I decided to dig into my Simply Spring collection and create a grid-ish layout featuring a photo of my adorable nieces on their Easter Egg hunt last year.  I added in coordinating Bella Bows throughout the grid to finish off the layout:

I have absolutely adored working for Bella Blvd this past year and am so blessed to have had this amazing opportunity.  Bella Blvd will always hold a special place in my heart.  The owner, Stephanie, the design team coordinator, Laura, and all the amazing ladies who work for Bella have been simply wonderful.  I'll definitely miss working with all of them! ♥♥♥

Clique Kits || Hell Yeah!

Morning, everyone!!  When I saw the March kit for Clique Kits I was SO EXCITED!  I have had my eyes on the 7Paper Goldie collection for a while now.  I adore the fun mix of prints.  It's such a eclectic collection and I just REALLY, REALLY love it.  (Hopefully, if you're reading this you understand that it's totally normal for one to hyperventilate about pretty paper!)

The March kit is appropriately named "Hell Yeah!" and it's full of amazing papers and exclusives - there are even some exclusive papers - sooooo cool!!

I finally got to play with my kit a bit this weekend (it's been taunting me for about 2 weeks, but I just didn't have time to break into that bad boy) and here is what I created:

A cute little layout about my Moose Dog!

I'm hoping to get some more play time this coming weekend - can I get a hell yeah?!

New Here + There Collection

Good morning all!!  Have you seen the new Pretty Little Studio collection, Here + There?!  It's a collection designed by Heather Adams...and it's freakin' awesome!  The colors and patterns in it are so bright and fun, so when I received my order of it on Saturday, I had to dive in immediately and create something!

I kept my first layout with the collection pretty simple, using an old, faithful layout design that I use pretty frequently.  I mainly just wanted to highlight the awesome heart patterned paper:

Like the collection?  It's available for purchase here!

Scraplift Saturday || 3.5.16

Good morning, everyone!!  I am popping in on this happy Saturday (seriously, YAY SATURDAY!) to share another installment of Scraplift Saturdays.  I always choose one of my own layouts to lift for this feature.  It's a fun little challenge and it's always nice to be inspired by yourself :o)

For today's feature I chose to lift this layout from last August:

I really liked the big circle and the fact that there were multiple photos spread across the page.

This is my new layout for Pretty Little Studio:

I LOVE that big 'ol sun cut file from The Cut Shoppe and knew that it would be a great element to anchor my photos.  For my PLS assignment, I was also asked to focus on stickers.  I decided to have some fun with the tiny ABC stickers.  I'm a pretty big fan of how this layout turned out.

Thanks for popping in!

Flashback Friday || Bella Blvd

Hey, everyone!  Sorry I've been M.I.A. recently!  I did want to pop in and share a layout that I have on the Bella Blvd blog this morning.  We were asked to create a layout using an older Bella collection, so I went with the Family Forever collection.  Here's what I whipped up:

The title is made from a cut file from The Cut Shoppe.

Hope you enjoy!
