Top Ten Blog Hop (and a giveaway!)

Hi everyone! Welcome to the Top Ten blog hop! This is my second year in a row participating in this hop. Every year since I've had my blog, I've done a wrap-up of my year's favorite layouts. I love the excuse to go back and look at everything I created...and I love seeing everyone else's favorite projects.

Good morning everyone! Every year it has become a tradition of mine to share my top 10 layouts from the year. Top 10 in 2015

One of my favorite things to do at the end of every year is to look back on my work from the past year and pick some of my favorites. It helps me discover what my style is, how its changed and what things I want to improve on in the new year. This year I made a whopping 130 layouts! I was lucky enough to serve n some amazing design teams. 2015 was definitely good to me, creatively, and I hope to continue my creative journey in 2016. In order of when they were created, here are my 10 favorite layouts from the year:

The Studio || 2014 Reflection

Good morning, everyone! Happy New Year! I hope you and your family were able to ring in the new year in a safe and fun way!

There is a new challenge up at The Studio this morning and it is all about reflecting on 2014. I bounced around a bit on what I wanted to do, but finally decided on a Project Life wrap-up page. I had this fun patterned paper from Bella Blvd that I really wanted to use:

I really love the concept of this spread and I think I'm going to start incorporating this in my Project Life albums from now on. Love the look back at the year.

I know it looks a little weird since the months aren't quite in order, but the left side is actually the front of the pocket page and the right side is the back...

My Favorite Layouts of 2014

I love the end of the year because it gives me a great excuse to go back and look at all the crafty things I've done this year. I love to wrap up my favorites and share them on my blog. In no particular order, here are my favorite layouts from 2014:

So, yes, I clearly love white backgrounds, bright colors and a "smattering" of stuff, whether that stuff be paint or sequins or enamel dots. It feels good to have found a style that I'm comfortable with. :O)

So...every year I do a post that contains my top 10 layouts from the year. This year, I can't do a top 10. Why? Because I only managed to make about 30 layouts, so I would basically be posting a third of my layouts in just this post. Why didn't I choose 5? Because I had a really hard time deciding (ha!).
