Hi, everyone! I hope your week is going well!
I recently dug out some of my Doodlebug Design products to create a bright layout. Their colorful products are always so much fun to work with. Here is what I came up with:
Too colorful? I think not! :)

Yes, it's true...my tenure at Just C & S is complete. I had such an amazing time on that team. Some of my favorite layouts of all time were created from Just C & S challenges. Our final challenge was to create a layout saying "goodbye.' I'm not good at goodbyes, so I didn't really say much of anything....
Thanks for popping in! Enjoy your work week!

Happy weekend, everybody! I have a few quick layouts to share with you. The first one was done for Just C & S. The challenge was to create your own background. I used an old stencil that I had laying around:
The second layout is one that I created just for fun using the Boardwalk kit from Studio Calico:

Hi, everybody...it's almost Friday (thank goodness...I don't know about you, but I NEED a weekend :) ).
I wanted to share my first layout for The Creative Type. The propmpt was to scrap a vacation...and use paint! I can use some paint! I decided to approach the paint a little differently, though, and kept my layout relatively clean:

This past week my parents were in town visiting me. While they were here, we celebrated 2 birthdays: my Dad's, which was July 20th, and mine, which was last Wednesday. I decided to make a layout for each us that showed us blowing out our candles, and put the pages side-by-side in an album.
For the first layout, I dug into my scraps bin to play along with Amy Heller's summer scraps challenge:

For the layout about my Dad, I used the "Boogie Board" add-on kit from the August Studio Calico kit:
(My Dad loves making silly faces, which is why he looks a little funny in both of his pictures...haha!)

As soon as I saw October Afternoon's new "Boarding Pass" collection, I knew I had to get my hands on it. I don't travel a whole, whole lot, but I certainly would like to! I instantly fell in love with the colors and patterns in this collection. I seriously bought almost every product from this line that I could! And I knew that buying this fun stuff would give me the kick in the butt that I needed to scrap more of my "older" photos (i.e., from the last few years).
Here is my first "Boarding Pass" layout...Chicago pictures!!
Thanks for popping in...enjoy your weekend!

Hi, everyone! I hope you are having a nice week.
I recently found a really fun layout in the Creating Keepsakes special "Summer Fun & Travel" issue that I just had to scraplift. It was done by Roree Rumph and can be found on page 75 of the issue. I dug into my Studio Calico scraps to play along with Amy Heller's scraps challenge:
I love the end result! It's nice to get back to my "griddy" roots!

Good morning, all! I have a super quick layout to share with you, using the newest sketch at Just C & S:
Sorry I've been MIA recently. I have guests and will until next weekend, but I'll try to pop in a few times, if I can.

Hello, everyone!! Happy, happy AUGUST!
I have a bit of fun information to pass to all of you. If you have ever wanted to be on a totally fun design team that challenges you creatively, you're in luck! Just C & S is having a design team call! I had the best time on this team and some of my all-time favorite layouts were created from Maureen's prompts. Check out all the Design Team call details here.
In other news, I am one of the newest designers at The Creative Type. So excited!! So as one DT journey ends, another begins!
