Hey, all! I'm so excited to tell you that the May House of Art kit has been released...this one was so much fun to play with. There are a ton of fun, vintage embellies in the kit. Everything goes together so well that I sat down and did all these projects in a day:

Happy Saturday Morning!! The new House of Art kit is out. Here it is: And here are the projects I made with it: The above picture is of my Grandmother...she was a U.S. Marine during World War II. Isn't that awesome?? This kit is so, so much fun!! I really do love it. And how happy was I that it came with paint?? In other news, I caved and got a Pinterest account. Umm...I love it. And I'm slightly obsessed. You can check out my pinboards here. AND let me know if you are on Pinterest, because I've found that I really like crafty boards. :) Have a wonderful weekend!

House of Art Blog Hop...Day 1

Lots of news for you!

Hey, all! Happy Friday!! I have lots of information for you today...

First, there is a new challenge up at Punky Scraps. It's a recipe challenge. Use at least 3 out of 5 of "ingredients" on the list to create a layout. The "ingredients" were misting, distressing, black & white photo, flower(s) and sparkles! Here is what I came up with:
And, let me just say, I am kicking myself for not using a b&w photo. I use b&w photos all the time, but while I was doing this layout I completely forgot that was an ingredient...grrr...oh well :)

In other news, the Butterfly Crafts challenge site is back up and running...and I am lucky enough to be a design team member! There will be one challenge a month...our first challenge is March 15th.

And finally, House of Art will be kicking off it's housewarming party next week (it was delayed because Ariana was waiting on some awesome product that arrived from the maufacturer a little late). Here is what will be happening there:

House of Art Announcement....

New house just built!! Vacant and empty and looking for an artful, creative family!!! Under this roof, we have kits on our mind, and our minds on kits! So if you go kookoo for scrapbooking kits, you have DEFINITELY found the perfect home to get cozy in and let your creativity sore! We are going to be releasing our very first kit on March 1st…buuuuttttt…we cant get this show on the road without having a house warming party! That is why we have planned a week long party that will be filled with fun, games, and lets not forget about the party favors! Our house warming party list of dates and events will be posted Feb.18th…so be sure to check it out here.

introducing "House of Art" and "Sketches 2 Scrapbook - Cards"

Hey, all!

I just wanted to pop in and tell you about a new kit club...it's called House of Art. The owner, Ariana, seems like an awesome chick and promises fun and colorful kits...yay!
I was lucky enough to be selected as one of the desingers and I can't wait to dive in and play...good news is that there will plenty of opportunities for you to get in on the fun, too. House of Art will be having a "housewarming party" where you can win fun prizes, etc. More details will be released next week...so stay tuned... ;)

In other news, Anam Stubbington has released a new iPhone app called "Sketches 2 Scrapbook - CARDS." There are 2 downloads: one is FREE and includes 12 sketches and is found here. The other is a full version that includes 104 sketches (+ the 12 free ones) for only $4.99. That one can be found here.
