Project Life GIVEAWAY!

Hey, y'all!  I haven't done a giveaway in forever.  I'm trying to de-clutter a bit heading into the new year, so now's the time.

I currently have way more Project Life cards than I can possibly use in a lifetime, so I'm doing a big giveaway over on Instagram!  Head on over & tag a friend to enter.  Giveaway closes on Sunday night!

How about a giveaway?

Hey, everyone! So I am moving pretty soon, which means I am doing lots and lots of cleaning....including organizing my scrappy space a bit. Therefore, I have lots of scrap goodies to give away. I love the stuff; I just can't take it all with me. To win all you need to do is leave a comment telling me what your favorite scrappy blog is at the moment. I will pick one (or more) winner(s) on Friday, January 20th!

GIVEAWAY ... and random other things...

I will begin with my "random other things..."

1. There is a new challenge up at The Creative Type...the prompt this month is to scrap a current trend...hop on over to see what the ladies created...Team B's creations will be up at the end of the week.

2. My bloggy friend, Laurie, does a monthly feature on her blog in which she highlights a scrapper and interviews them...this month is me! I'm quite honored. Go check it out here.

3. I hit 100 followers today...which brings me to... A GIVEAWAY!! I have a great selection of Studio Calico items to give away, plus a few extra items from my stash (I bought 2 SC grab bags and didn't know they were identical...while very awesome, I have a TON of paper already, without having duplicates!). Just leave a comment about anything...I'll pick a random winner on Friday, 14 Oct.

Enjoy the work week.

Memorial Day and a GIVEAWAY!

Good morning, all!If you live in the United States, then you probably have a nice day off from work. I always take a moment to think on this day. I think about all the men and women who have sacrificed their lives to protect our country. I am so thankful for these people. I know that their job is not easy and I can only imagine what it must be like to be deployed away from your family and friends, fighting in a foreign country. I've been on the other side of the deployment and consider myself extremely lucky that I've never lost someone close.

Photo credit here.On a lighter note, I got the cleaning bug yesterday. It was kind of nice going through a lot of my stuff. I have a lot of "older" scrapping supplies that I adore, but that I never used (I've mentioned I'm a hoarder of good supplies), so my goal is to use more of those supplies. That being said, I also have tons of stuff I want to get rid of. So, if you're interested, please leave a comment on this post telling me what your favorite "old" supply is. I'll announce a winner on Thursday. I do apologize, but right now this giveaway is only open to readers in the U.S. unless you are willing to pay for shipping.

Also, one of my layouts is posted over at Ideas for Scrapbookers today. I came in second place for a fun scraplifting challenge they had going on this month. It is chock full of fun templates and other unique scrapbooking ideas. They have a lot of talented ladies over there who contribute to the blog. Here is the layout posted there today:

GIVEAWAY!

Hey, all!! My scrappy friend Sarah is having a giveaway at her blog. While I've never met Sarah in person, I became a huge fan of her work a few months ago. She's incredibly talented and crafty and definitely worth checking out. She's trying to reach 50,000 page views on her blog before her birthday. I don't think she'll have any problems doing that. Click here for details about her giveaway...she's giving away three different prizes, so your odds are good! And make sure to tell her that Kat sent you... :D

Giveaway opportunity!

Hey, all..I just wanted to let you know about a great giveaway opportunity. It's on Sarah de Guzman's blog. I don't know if you all are familiar with her work, but I'm pretty sure you have seen it somewhere before and just don't realize it. This talented lady is on about a billion design teams and is super, super creative. The most impressive thing about her? She does most of her layouts in about 30 minutes. That's awesome to me. So, definitely run by her blog and check out the giveaway. I don't think you'll be disappointed!!

Challenge winner

Hey, all...I want to thank everyone so much for entering my first challenge. I received so many great layouts. The winner for this challenge is Angela (aka: Foreverscrapping). Here is her fabulous layout:

She will have a week to get me her contact information, or another winner will be chosen and will win all the yummy Christmas goodies.
I also decided to send Caroline Hancock a goodie bag filled with random embellies for being such a dedicated follower. I can do these kind of things you know... :-)
If you didn't win, don't despair...I will have another Challenge coming up soon...plus another out-of-the-blue winner, I'm sure. So, ladies, if you won...just email your mailing address to kraftykat9@gmail.com within the next week.
Thanks to everyone for participating and congrats to the winners!

Thanks for following!

Hey, all! So, today an idea popped into my head and I decided that I would do a random drawing of my followers and send one of them an embellie grab bag. I think it's so great that total strangers can provide people so much support for all the things they do. I love that people take the time to take an interest in other people's work. All those comments, love and support can really help someone to become even more creative.

I went to Radom.org to generate my winner...and that winner is...Karen Lee! So, Karen, please send your mailing address to me at kraftykat9@gmail.com and I will get that grab bag in the mail to you!

And for all my other followers, don't despair...I will continue to do this from time to time. Sometime it will be random and sometimes it won't... :-)

Here is a layout that I did recently...I'm getting so psyched for Christmas. I love everything about the season. I love spending time with family, and shopping for family and friends, and decorating, and going to church to recognize the reason behind season...and of course, I love the time after Christmas, too, because then I get to scrap all my fun new memories!!

Challenge Time!!

Hey, all! It's time for my first challenge and I'm pretty excited about it. First, here's what's up for grabs:

-K & Company Christmas/Winter paper pack (12x12)
-Jolee's snowflake stickers
-Me & My Big Ideas Christmas chipboard
-Plus a small goodie bag from me filled with a random assortment of embellies

If you enter this challenge, and you don't celebrate Christmas, just let me know. That way, if you win, I will come up with a different prize for you that you can actually use.

Here's what you have to do to win:

-Design a layout about Winter or Christmas

-Post the link to your layout in the comments section of this post by 6 pm PST on 11 December (that's a Friday...and 3 weeks away, so you have plenty of time)

-That's it!! Super easy challenge, but hopefully pretty fun...I always get into the Christmas spirit just a few weeks before Thanksgiving. By the time this challenge is due, I figure most of you will be pretty psyched for Christmas too!

Here are some layouts that I have done that fit the challenge criteria:

So, get to scrappin' and I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!!

GIVEAWAY!!

Hey, all!! In honor of my new blog, I'm doing my very first giveaway! Here's what's up for grabs:

*1 set of K & Company "simply sweet" layered accents
*1 package of Making Memories tiny alphas
*1 package of Petaloo flowers
*1 package of Colorbok adhesive gems

I absolutely love all these products. I was involved in a swap on Scrapbook.com and my pal, Jackie, gave me a package of those awesome Petaloo flowers. I haven't had a chance to use them yet, but I have them ready and sitting on my desk to use in my next layout.

Here is a layout that I did with the K & Company layered accents. It's a scraplift of the layout "Lil Biker Dude" by Kelly Gorree.

And here is a recent layout I did using the Making Memories alphas. I used a sketch by Helen Croft to create this:

Okay, so what do you have to do to win this? It's REALLY SIMPLE. All you have to do is leave a comment on this post telling me what kinds of things you would like to see here. In other words, what kinds of things would keep you coming back for more? Do you want challenges? Sketches? Tell me! I wanna know!
Yep, it's that easy, and I will randomly pick a winner on Sunday evening. So, you'll have to come back at least once more to see if you're a winner!! :o)
