Hey, everyone!  Happy, happy weekend!!  I wanted to pop in and share my layout for The Creative Type this month. Our prompt: be inspired by one of our favorite scrappers.  It was really hard for me to pick just one.  I have so many that I love and am inspired by: Antonia Krajicek, fellow Punky Scrapper, Michelle Hernandez, and Maggie Holmes, just to name a few.  However, I finally settled on the super-creative-and-inspirational Janna Werner.  I fell in love with her layout found here.  And here is my layout:

I adored the colors...and liked the random splattering of rings. Here is what I created:

Not my best work...but I'm getting back in the "scrappy saddle," so there will be a few misses here and there. :o)

Hey, everyone! I'm just popping by super quickly to share a new layout that I made for the current challenge over at The Creative Type. The prompt this month: scrap your greatest gift. My greatest gift is my fiance (or ex-boyfriend, as I lovingly call him). We recently got engaged...and I feel truly lucky and blessed that he chose me to spend the rest of his life with. I'm a lucky, lucky gal.

What's Your Vice?

We all have one. Mine just happens to be cupcakes. Ohmigoodness...I love me some cupcakes. I can't pass a cupcake store without going in. I don't know what it is about the delicious little things. I even have a whole Pinterest board dedicated to them. So, here is my layout for The Creative Type:
The prompt is obviously to scrap your vice. And you can tell by that picture that I'm not kidding about my cupcake obsession. I look like a 12 year old on a sugar high :o)

Hi, everybody...it's almost Friday (thank goodness...I don't know about you, but I NEED a weekend :) ).

I wanted to share my first layout for The Creative Type. The propmpt was to scrap a vacation...and use paint! I can use some paint! I decided to approach the paint a little differently, though, and kept my layout relatively clean:

Hello, everyone!! Happy, happy AUGUST!

I have a bit of fun information to pass to all of you. If you have ever wanted to be on a totally fun design team that challenges you creatively, you're in luck! Just C & S is having a design team call! I had the best time on this team and some of my all-time favorite layouts were created from Maureen's prompts.
