Bella Blvd - Back to School

Good morning everyone! Can you believe that summer is unofficially over and kids are going back to school?!?! It's crazy!

For my back-to-school-week layout over at Bella Blvd, I decided to begin by using the Florence Alpha cut file to add a little interest to my background. I backed that with the Oyster paper from the new Bella Besties line and then added in random Florence Alphas to add a pop of color. I then dug DEEP into my stash and pulled out bits from the older Star Student line. I love mixing older supplies with newer stuff - and since all the Bella products coordinate so well, it's easy to do!

Here is my final layout:

Free File Friday at Paper Issues

Hello all! Popping in today to share my layout for Free File Friday over at Paper Issues.  I seriously love all the amazing cut files in the store, but for this one I decided to use the Time to Fly file.  I mean, seriously, butterflies are so pretty!

I paired the file with the beautiful Blessed collection from Kaisercraft and some background paper and alphas from Bella Blvd.

I thought this was the perfect pairing to scrap this cute picture of my girl.  I really like how it all came together quickly and easily because of the cut file.

Thanks so much for stopping by...we hope you can play along with our challenges this month...and don't forget you can use code KAT20 to save 20% off your store order!

Have a lovely day!

6x6 Bella Blvd Pages

Hey everyone!  I'm here with you today to share my coordinating 6x6 layouts that are up on the Bella Blvd blog today.  I actually created them with the idea in mind to merge them in to one big 12x12 layout and I really like the end result.

I began by selecting 4 papers from the Bella Besties 6x6 paper pad to use as my foundation pieces.  I then used some papers from the 6x6 Squeeze the Day paper pad, as well as some Squeeze the Day embellishments.  I finished off each page by doing a quarter-circle of Florence Alphabet words:

Once the pages were all complete, I put them together to create one large layout.  I really love the final result and the fact that all the pages could stand alone on their own!

Paper Issues || Get Fussy

Hey, hey everyone!  Just here today to share my take on the "Let's Get Fussy" challenge over at Paper Issues.  Let me preface this by saying that I really don;t fussy cut a lot.  I have a simple style and make most of my layouts in about 30 minutes, so fussy cutting is not usually my jam.  However, it is fun occasionally :)

For my layout today, I kept it all pretty simple...I used a pretty mixed media page from Vicki Boutin and used a fun summer collection from Simple Stories.

I actually fussy cut little watermelons and pineapples to sprinkle up and down my page and I think they added just the right amount of pop:
