#52favorites Update

Hi everyone!  I wanted to pop in and share my last 3 pages for my #52favorites album.

Hip Kit Club Sketch

Hello!!  I recently received my October kit from Hip Kit Club in the mail and I had to instantly play.  For some reason, I've really been wanting to scrap some Fall photos recently, which is weird, because Fall themed products don't usually appeal to me.  They're not bright enough for my style :)

However, I love this kit and I love the most recent sketch that they posted:

So, I took a swing at it and here's what I came up with:

Hi everyone!  Happy Sunday!  I am popping in to share 2 more layouts that I made for my Sketchy August challenge.  The first one was based off this sketch by Par Victor:

July 2016 Project Life

Woo hoo!  Another month completed for my Project Life album!  #the100dayproject is certainly helping me catch up...and while I won't be caught up by the time the project ends on Wednesday, I should at least be motivated to continue the updates :)

Anywho, here's July 2016...a lot of these products are from Hip Kit Club...and surprisingly, their holiday kit from last year.  I love the hot pink and blue color combo, so I kept that pretty consistent throughout the monthly spread.

First Post of the New Year

Well, 2017 has arrived!  Crazy!  2016 was a good year for my little family and we're hoping that 2017 is even better!

I wanted to pop and share the very last layout I made in 2016:

I made this layout with the November kits from Hip Kit Club.  Every single item on this layout is a Hip Kit Club exclusive item (except the mist).  I am so in love with the colors they chose for their holiday kit.  I am SO TIRED of red, green and random metallic...lol.

Another Hip Kit September Share

Hello, all!  Happy, happy Friday!  I realized that I never shared a second layout that I made with the September kit from Hip Kit club!  The first layout I shared was very girly, so I decided to make a very "boy" page for my second project.  While my first layout was a bit out of my comfort zone, I was totally in my element with this one:

Playing with my September Hip Kit...

Hey, everyone!  I wanted to pop in and share a layout that I recently made with the September kit from Hip Kit Club.  The kit is full of the Gather collection from Maggie Holmes for Crate Paper and bits from the Simple Stories Posh collection.  I definitely don't think the kit is in keeping with my normal style, but it's been fun playing outside my comfort zone a little bit. :)  Here's what I whipped up:

Pretty simple, but sweet.  And...Eric recently bought a We R Memory Keepers typewriter for me as a little (BIG) surprise and I'm having so much fun playing around with it!!

A Layout for FUN

I wanted to pop in and quickly share a layout that I made just for fun...I've been doing that a lot recently and I've really been enjoying myself. 

I made this layout with the July kit from Hip Kit Club.  The kit features tons of exclusive papers and embellishments and I LOVE IT.  The kit is just my style...the layout I made is a little different from my normal style, but I actually think I really like it...

Hip Kit Club Sketch Challenge

Hi, everyone!  For my birthday last month my AWESOME husband surprised me with a subscription to Hip Kit Club and also bought me a whole bunch of past kits to get me "started".  He's totally awesome, right?!?!

After my subscription started, I was added to the Hip Kit Club member Facebook page and found out that they host a weekly challenge on there.  This past week was a sketch challenge...and I love my sketches, so I joined in!  Here was the sketch:

And here is the layout I created.  This was made with the Fancy Free collection from Pink Paislee.  I've loved that collection since the day it came out, but it took me forever to be able to get my hands on it...so glad that I finally did. :o)
